Another photo from this past summer, this time of an Echinacea flower.  I planted this type in my own garden years ago but it died out after a while... not sure why.  But will try it again this year.

The bulbous orangey rust seed head next to the pink petals plus the unusual perspective of this photo are what attracted me to paint this one.

10x8 oil on narrow profile canvas, ready to hang.
