Foiled Cherries

Painting Foiled Cherries makes me hunger.   I must confess that after I completed this painting I popped both of these red beauties into my mouth. Gone in 60 seconds or less!  They were scrumptious, so I consumed a few more...  Of course I will never admit to how many more, but lets just say I'll be sleeping well tonight!
(if you read my blog from Tuesday of this week you will get the joke.)

Pleasant dreams.

Lovely reds...and that foil, though loosely painted, looks so realistic. Great rendition with just a hint of yellow/green.

the reflections - both on the cherries & the foil - are great! reminds me of seeing an article on el bulli & they served some dishes on what looked like crumpled metal plates - your cherries look much more inviting! and i think it's allowed to eat lotsa cherries!

I can't blame you Kim, they look delicious! I love the energy in the foreground and background, too.

Been so busy lately, haven't had time to comment much but I've been enjoying your cherries. Love the reflective quality of the foil. Nice.

Gosh these look so juicy and delicious! The vivid, clear reds remind me of Maraschino Cherries that I am tempted to eat entire bottles of.
