Glossy Red

I have been staring at this 10x20 canvas for a few months now, wondering what to paint on it.  I was 'browsing' through the crisper in the refrigerator the other day and spotted these glossy red peppers.  Credit Card + Red Peppers + tin foil = 10x20 canvas.  The shiny silver of the tin foil combined with the glossy red skin of the peppers made me think of hot red sports cars with chrome.
A little summer sizzle!

:) I read this post before the previous one, and I couldn't figure out about the credit card - did you have to send away for the canvas?!?!? Now i KNOW! Neat trick -sort of like palette knife without a handle! This is great - you did a fabulous job with the peppers AND the foil. I wish I had a gift card to send you!

This is a masterpiece! I just love your tin foil backgrounds and this is the best one yet. You are really getting good at this.
I'm going to try the credit card thing. It FORCES you to loosen up, doesn't it.

This painting is really HOT! Those fire engine red peppers look so great reflected in the foil. Love it!

I have watched your foil paintings progress and this one is so good. I don't know how you do it. I tried to paint foil and it was really a mess. Better to paint with a credit card than use one!!! Great ingenuity!
