Landscape Painting of Marshlands, Red Reed Reflections Too, by Canadian Artist Kim Blair

Every few feet a landscape offers a new perspective, or angle for inspiration.

'Red Reed Reflections Too' is just that, another section of the same marsh used for the two other painting in this series... a similar view but with a few subtle differences...
I have 'Red Reed Reflections' and 'Red Reed Reflections Too' drying side by side and they create a lovely diptych, even though I never consciously intended for them to work side by side, they do...

Of course they work just fine on their own...

Happy 'Canadian' Thanksgiving everyone!

Kim, I love the clean color of the strokes in your rendering of the reflections. The strong darks also help give this piece a wonderful impact. Very nice.

This Marshland series is so great! Love the way you have the majority of the painting about the lush reflections. Gives it a wonderful abstractness! Beautiful color palette as well.
